Public Works

The Department of Public Works is responsible for the maintenance and operation of a wide range of city infrastructure and services. This includes the upkeep of city parks, streets, and the municipal utility systems—encompassing water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater networks. Additionally, the department maintains the city’s fleet of heavy equipment and service vehicles, including South Metro fire trucks, police cruisers, and city pickup trucks.
