Kaposia Landing

Discover the scenic beauty and recreational opportunities of Kaposia Landing, South St. Paul’s premier riverside park. Opened in 2008, this 87-acre park was once the Port Crosby demolition landfill and has since been transformed into a vibrant public space through more than a decade of strategic planning and investment.

Today, Kaposia Landing features a 6.3-acre off-leash dog area (permit required), scenic river overlooks, and nearly two miles of paved interior trails. In 2017, the park expanded to include five athletic fields for softball and baseball, supported by a centrally located concession and restroom facility.

The park is easily accessible via vehicle from the intersection of Concord Street (TH 156) and Bryant Avenue. Pedestrians and cyclists can also access the park from the Simon’s Ravine Trailhead at 1308 North Concord Street using the scenic bridge connection.
