The Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission consists of seven members, appointed by the city council to three-year terms.

Duties
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission guides the development of park facilities and recreational programs for South St. Paul residents. The commission recommends improvements to parks and recreation opportunities and helps set city goals and policies. Applicants must be South St. Paul residents.
