Duties

The Airport Advisory Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on issues related to Fleming Field Airport and airport policies that impact the community. The nine-member commission is appointed by the City Council to a three-year term.

Responsibilities of the commission include:

  • Advising the airport manager and City Council on matters related to Fleming Field
  • Reviewing and making recommendations on the airport budget, Capital Improvement Plan, services, and policies
  • Monitoring the airport’s financial performance
