Wakota Room
The Wakota Room is a large community meeting space available for public rental during regular operating hours. It offers flexible seating arrangements for up to 50 people, making it ideal for business meetings, club gatherings, team events, and birthday parties.
Cow Palace Room
The Cow Palace Room is a smaller, more intimate meeting space available for rental. It accommodates 10–15 people with flexible seating options, perfect for smaller gatherings, team meetings, or business discussions.

Birthday Parties at Doug Woog Arena
The City of South St. Paul offers a variety of birthday party options through its Parks and Recreation program. Doug Woog Arena is a popular venue for hosting birthday parties, offering dedicated space and amenities for a fun celebration.
All party reservations must be requested through Doug Woog Arena and finalized at least two weeks before the desired date to ensure proper staffing. Each party package includes a private room rental with tables for food and gifts. Hosts may bring store-bought food to comply with food safety regulations.
Private Skating Birthday Party – $200 (plus tax)
- Two-hour party, including one hour of private ice rental (subject to availability) and one hour of private room space.
- Hosts may bring store-bought food.
Open Skating Birthday Party – $100 (plus tax)
- Two-hour party, including one hour of open skating within the reserved two-hour room rental window.
- Rates include admission for up to 10 skaters.
- Additional skaters: $7 with skate rental, $5 without skate rental.
- Hosts may bring store-bought food.
