Campaigns and candidates are required to disclose the money they raise and spend. These laws vary depending on the office. Visit the Minnesota Secretary of State's website for detailed campaign finance requirements.

Local Candidates and Campaigns

Local candidates must comply with Minnesota Statutes Chapter 211A and local laws. Candidates file with their local filing officer. Those raising or spending larger amounts must disclose finances through Campaign Finance filings.
