The City Clerk’s Office coordinates the issuance of business, liquor, and animal licenses. Licenses can be submitted in person at City Hall or by mail:

Animal Licenses

- Dog/Cat License - Lifetime License Fee: $25.00
- Chicken and/or Duck License - Lifetime License Fee: $75.00
- Miniature Pig License - Lifetime License Fee: $25.00

Solicitors
Solicitors must obtain a permit from the City and display it at all times. While the City cannot generally prohibit door-to-door sales, residents have the right to privacy. Solicitors must leave a property if asked and may not engage in threatening, intimidating, or abusive behavior.
Residents who wish to exclude solicitors from their premises may place a sign near the entrance stating: "No peddlers, solicitors, or transient merchants" or similar wording.
Solicitors, peddlers, and transient merchants may only operate during the following hours:
- Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday – Sunday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
