The South St. Paul Sustainability Recognition Program is an opportunity for residents, local organizations, and businesses to be celebrated for their efforts related to sustainability. Applications will be accepted through October 1, 2025.

Example projects: installing solar panels or solar-powered lighting, installing a geothermal system or completing an energy-efficiency project such as attic insulation. Window replacement projects would not be considered an energy efficiency project.
Example projects: creating a native planting area, creating a pollinator-friendly garden, swapping traditional grass for low/no-mow grass or creating a rain garden.
Example projects: food waste reduction initiatives, local composting initiatives, unique reuse or recycling of construction materials.
Photos, write ups or other additional documentation should be submitted to support the nomination. Please include them with the completed nomination form.

If available, please provide supporting documentation that demonstrates the nominee's sustainability efforts, such as photographs or written descriptions.
