Youth Camps
Join us for some summer fun-filled outdoor activities! Feel free to sign up for one or all of them!
Summer Playgrounds
Each day will feature a variety of fun activities with a themed focus. This program keeps kids entertained with various activities ranging from arts and crafts to group-styled competitions. Each camp includes a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, and each week ends with a visit to the pool (weather dependent). Session fees include your child’s admission to Northview Pool/Splash Pool when accompanied by camp staff. Additional information about the camp will be emailed one week before the session starts.
Summer Playground camps are a safe, fully supervised daytime program for youth entering grades 1–6 in the upcoming school year. Campers should bring a bag lunch and water bottle each day.
Drop-off and pick-up will take place at Kaposia Park, except for Fridays. Friday pick-up will occur at either Northview or Lorraine Pool. Final logistics will be shared at the start of camp.

Summer Playground 1 (Disney Camp)
Location: Kaposia Park
Monday June 16th- Friday June 20th

Cost: $75
Magic is in the air! Get ready to embark on a journey filled with creativity, magic, friendship, and the enchantment of all things Disney. All kids will be able to make Disney geared crafts, play Disney geared games outside, and enjoy some of the most popular Disney songs!

Summer Playground 2 (Packer Camp)
Location: Kaposia Park
Monday June 23rd - Friday June 27th

Cost: $75
Ready to show you Packer Pride? Kids will have the opportunity to meet and play outdoor activities with different Varsity athletes from South St Paul. On 6/27, all campers can join us in the Kaposia Days parade with the SSP Parks and Rec float!

Summer Playground 3 (Stars and Stripes Camp)
Location: Lorraine Park/Doug Woog Arena
Monday June 30th – Thursday July 3rd
9-4 PM
Cost: $60
Get ready for the 4th of July by playing some yard games, making some red, white, and blue crafts, along with enjoying grill outs for lunch. Then finish your week swimmingly with a trip to the pool before the 4th of July Weekend!

Summer Playground 4 (Forensics Camp)
Location: Kaposia Park
Monday July 7th – Friday July 11th
9-4 PM
Cost: $75
Forensics camp will include the opportunity to solve mysteries, puzzle games, and obstacle courses! Kids can put their detective skills to the test! On Friday, kids can show off all of their skills to the South St. Paul Police department, who will stop by camp!

Summer Playground 5 (Outdoor Explorers Camp)

Come explore the outdoors! This camp will give kids the opportunity to participate in scavenger hunts, nature walks, and much more! Campers can enjoy walks to Thompson Park throughout the week! On Friday, kids will have the opportunity to search Lorraine Park for a Camp Medallion!

Keep your brain fresh with STEM Camp! Enjoy a fun, accessible way for kids to explore their sense of wonder through structured experiences and learning opportunities. Kids will be engaged in various STEM activities and brain teasing games. This camp also offers a variety of outdoor games and activities that keeps the kids active and attentive.

Summer Playground 7 (Music Camp)

Who likes Music? This camp will teach kids about different kinds of instruments, genres of music, different dances, and much more! Sign up and you will have a week filled with new songs and dances, all while still having a summer camp feeling!

Summer Playground 8 (Superhero Camp)

Calling all superheroes! Our Superhero camp offers a dynamic blend of Superhero themed games and crafts. Kids will also have the opportunity to meet with local heroes from the City of South St. Paul including police officers and/or fire fighters! Kids will also have the opportunity to go to Northview Pool 3+ times throughout the week.
