South St. Paul Water & Wastewater Utilities
The Water and Wastewater Division operates the City's public water utility, which includes seven deep wells, two water towers, and two reservoirs. Wastewater collection and disposal are managed through the regional sewer system, like most metro communities. Due to South St. Paul’s industrial history, the city has substantial capacity for industrial growth. For more information, contact South St. Paul Public Works.
Telecommunications
South St. Paul, in partnership with Dakota County and other municipalities, has prioritized building a robust fiber-optic network to ensure businesses have access to high-speed communications infrastructure. The City regularly includes conduit and fiber installation in road construction projects and continues to expand its network, which currently spans over three miles in strategic locations.
Broadband services with download speeds of up to 1 Gbps are available through Comcast and CenturyLink.
