Traveling Tackle Football (Grades 5–8)

Join the City of South St. Paul’s traveling tackle football program for grades 5–8! Teams compete in the MEYFL league with the potential to play at top venues like US Bank Stadium. Register by July 15 to guarantee your spot.

Grades 5–6: $180
Grades 7–8: $200

Each registered player will receive:

Helmet
Shoulder pads
Team jersey

How It Works

Players sign up by grade. We aim to field separate teams per grade, but grades may be combined to form full teams if needed. A minimum of 15 players is required per team.

The City of South St. Paul registers all teams directly with the MEYFL after final numbers are confirmed.

Season Timeline

Exact dates are TBD. In 2024, the season ran from August 22 to October 15. Final schedules are created once all teams are confirmed.

Some teams also had the exciting opportunity to play at US Bank Stadium.
