The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is actively investigating potential PFAS sources in South St. Paul. That investigation includes drilling wells to help determine the source of PFAS in the area. The MPCA anticipates this work taking a few weeks.
This summer, the MPCA will begin its work to sample water and soil throughout South St. Paul. You may see MPCA staff and its contractor Braun Intertec performing drill work on South St. Paul properties and public rights-of-way.
