South St. Paul has completed and submitted our service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT) at https://maps.umn.edu/LSL/. You may also contact us at 651-554-3219. To complete the service line inventory for our system, city staff reviewed property files, records from past construction projects, maintenance records, the results of the 2013 meter report, and service line material surveys submitted by property owners. As of 10/6/2024, our inventory contains 749 lead, 199 galvanized requiring replacement, 92 unknown material, and 6,000 non-lead service lines.
