Instead of throwing away items you do not want, consider donating them to the Disabled American Veterans. The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of Minnesota is accepting donations of clean, usable items at their drop-off box at the Doug Woog Arena. Acceptable items include:
- Clothing & Shoes- All ages and genders
- Linens & Textiles- blankets, sheets, towels
- Clothing accessories- hats, scarves, jewelry
Electronics, furniture, and cleaning chemicals will not be accepted. A full list of the items that are accepted can be found on the Disabled American Veterans' website, www.donatedavmn.org
